Longitude 77, Pernod Ricard India’s first Indian single malt, has entered the Karnataka market with an exclusive launch at Jamavar, The Leela Palace, Bengaluru. The event marked a key milestone in the brand’s nationwide expansion, showcasing the award-winning whisky’s blend of Indian terroir and global craftsmanship.
Recognised internationally with accolades including Gold at the London Spirits Competition and The Global Spirit Masters, Longitude 77 is crafted under the expertise of master whisky makers behind iconic labels like Chivas, Glenlivet, and Jameson.
“Our vision was to create a world-class single malt that captures India’s essence,” said Mahesh Patil, Master Blender. “The climate of Dindori Nashik and our double maturation process in American Bourbon barrels and wine casks lend the whisky its signature smoothness and complexity.”
The Bengaluru launch celebrated local flavours alongside an exclusive tasting of Longitude 77, positioning the city as a key market for premium whisky. Named after the 77° East meridian running through India, the single malt pays tribute to the nation’s diversity, craftsmanship, and landscapes.
Currently available in Maharashtra, Goa, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Karnataka, Dubai, and at Mumbai and Delhi Duty Free, Longitude 77 continues to expand its footprint, aiming to redefine premium whisky experiences in India.
