The Ascott Limited has announced the signing of a new 120-unit Oakwood-branded property in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with KBR Homes India Private Limited. The project marks Ascott’s continued expansion in India and introduces international-grade serviced living to one of the country’s most visited pilgrimage and emerging business destinations.
Tirupati, home to the Sri Venkateswara Temple, draws over 24 million visitors annually. Alongside its religious prominence, the city is witnessing rapid growth in real estate and industry, positioning it as a key urban center in the region.
The upcoming Oakwood property will cater to both religious tourists and business travelers. It will offer modern accommodation, an all-day dining venue, Oakbar, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre, providing a complete hospitality experience.
Developed by KBR Homes, a subsidiary of Bangalore-based KBR Infratech, the project reflects the group’s three decades of infrastructure expertise.
“Tirupati is where tradition meets transformation,” said Hoshang Garivala, Country GM, The Ascott Limited. “This partnership will help meet growing demand for quality hospitality in tier-2 cities.”
This signing strengthens Ascott’s India strategy focused on expanding in both major metros and high-growth regional markets.
