Club Mahindra, the flagship brand of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, has set a new benchmark in hospitality by converting its Acacia Palms resort in Goa into an all-women-managed property. This trailblazing initiative makes Acacia Palms the first resort within the Club Mahindra portfolio to be entirely run by women.
This transformation emphasizes Club Mahindra’s commitment to gender diversity, inclusion, and women empowerment. The resort’s operations, from security and engineering to guest services and food production, are managed by women, many of whom are stepping into traditionally male-dominated roles for the first time. By providing opportunities for skill development and career growth, the initiative empowers women to excel in the hospitality industry while fostering a more inclusive workplace.
Additionally, Club Mahindra has partnered with local women entrepreneurs and artisans to integrate their products into the resort’s offerings, supporting community development and sustainability.
Manoj Bhat, MD & CEO, Mahindra Holidays, expressed pride in this initiative: “Acacia Palms as an all-women-run property reflects our dedication to empowering women and redefining industry standards.”
Chief HR Officer Tanvi Choksi added, “This transformation breaks stereotypes and reshapes hospitality by showcasing women’s potential across all functions.”
