Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort has set a new standard in sustainable hospitality by installing a 368 kWp solar power plant. This transformative initiative underscores the resort’s commitment to eco-conscious innovation and significantly reduces its environmental impact.
Situated amidst the picturesque Aravali Hills, the solar installation generates over 1,272 kWh of clean energy daily. This green energy powers key operations, including air conditioning, lighting, and water heating, while reducing the resort’s carbon footprint and operational emissions. Annually, the system offsets greenhouse gases equivalent to planting thousands of trees or removing hundreds of vehicles from the road.
“Our goal is to redefine luxury through sustainability,” said Anuj Chaudhry, General Manager. “This solar plant is a testament to our dedication to responsible hospitality, offering guests an experience where comfort meets mindfulness.”
Dr. Sanjay Sethi, MD & CEO of Chalet Hotels Ltd., highlighted, “This project aligns with our Net Zero 2040 vision and exemplifies how innovation can drive environmental stewardship.”
