Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has strengthened its presence in Maharashtra with the launch of a new Ginger hotel in Gadchiroli, marking the brand’s entry into the fast-developing eastern Maharashtra district and expanding its footprint to 15 operational properties across the state.
The newly opened Ginger Gadchiroli, Mul Road features 34 rooms and is strategically positioned near key commercial centres, government offices and transport links, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Announcing the opening, Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – New Businesses and Hotel Openings, IHCL, said Gadchiroli is witnessing steady growth supported by infrastructure development and improved connectivity. She noted that the launch aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding into emerging markets across India.
The hotel offers contemporary accommodation, community-focused spaces, and the brand’s signature all-day dining outlet, Qmin, serving Indian and international cuisine. Additional facilities include a bar and a flexible event venue designed for meetings, corporate gatherings and social functions.
The opening reflects growing investor confidence in tier-II and emerging districts, where infrastructure upgrades and government-led development initiatives are driving demand for organized hospitality services.
IHCL, part of the Tata Group, continues to accelerate its expansion across multiple hospitality segments. The company currently operates a portfolio of 640 hotels worldwide, including 263 properties under development across four continents, 15 countries and more than 300 destinations.
With the Gadchiroli launch, Ginger continues to strengthen its position in India’s lean-luxe hospitality segment while supporting economic and tourism growth in emerging regional markets.
