The 10th Global Hospitality Conclave (GHC), held at The Oberoi, New Delhi, celebrated a decade of impactful dialogue on the hospitality sector and honored the 90-year legacy of The Oberoi Group, founded by Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi.
Organized by alumni of The Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development (OCLD), GHC has evolved into a prestigious platform for knowledge exchange and networking across industries. This year, the event reflected on the Oberoi Group’s journey, blending tributes to its founder with forward-looking discussions.
Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman of The Oberoi Group, highlighted the enduring values of Rai Bahadur Oberoi’s vision that revolutionized Indian hospitality. Vikram Oberoi, CEO, added that the milestone represents gratitude to the founder’s legacy and the team’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
The event featured the Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi Memorial Lecture by Dr. Ashwani Kumar, who reflected on the founder’s transformative leadership. A session titled “A Legacy Remembered,” with journalist Bachi Karkaria and Rajiv Kaul, offered rare insights into Oberoi’s life.
