IHCL announces 5th hotel in Indore, signs Vivanta

IHCL has announced the signing of a new hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The brownfield project will be branded a Vivanta.

Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “This signing is in line with IHCL’s vision to expand its footprint in leading commercial cities. Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh is located near large industrial hubs as well as important pilgrimage spots. With this addition, the company will step into new micro markets in the city. We are delighted to partner with Amaltas Palace Private Limited for this hotel.”

The 180 keys Vivanta Indore, spread over 2.3 acres is strategically located at a short driving distance from the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport and the central business district. The hotel will feature an all-day diner, a rooftop restaurant, and a bar. The recreation facilities will include a swimming pool and a fitness centre.  It will also offer over 10,000 square feet of banqueting space for elegant social as well as corporate events.

Indore, lying on the banks of Kanh and Saraswati rivers is a thriving city in Madhya Pradesh. It has been consistently declared as India’s cleanest city. It is a major transit point for pilgrimage to Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 12 hotels in Madhya Pradesh including 4 under development.
