The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality group, has announced the signing of a greenfield Ginger hotel in Satara, Maharashtra.
The 125-key hotel, strategically located in the Satara MIDC area, will reflect Ginger’s lean luxe concept with stylish design and efficient service. Facilities will include Qmin, the brand’s all-day diner, a conference hall, and a fitness centre, catering to both business and leisure guests.
“Satara’s growing profile as an education, healthcare, and business hub makes it an ideal market for Ginger’s expansion,” said Suma Venkatesh, EVP – Real Estate & Development, IHCL. “This signing reinforces IHCL’s commitment to high-potential cities.”
IHCL has partnered with Ms. Vedantika Raje Bhonsle for the project. She noted, “This development will enhance Satara’s hospitality landscape and complement its evolving infrastructure.”
Known for its industrial base and cultural attractions, Satara is home to the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and several manufacturing clusters.
With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Maharashtra rises to 43 hotels, including 16 under development.
