Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Ayodhyām, Ayodhya – IHCL SeleQtions, strengthening its presence in one of India’s fastest-growing spiritual tourism destinations.
The launch comes amid increasing demand for religious and cultural travel, with Ayodhya emerging as a major pilgrimage and heritage destination following significant infrastructure development and growing visitor arrivals.

The 162-key hotel draws inspiration from Ayodhya’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy. Designed with expansive, light-filled interiors, the property aims to provide a tranquil and contemporary hospitality experience rooted in the destination’s identity.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Divyam, offers a menu inspired by regional culinary traditions, focusing on authentic flavours and local ingredients. Guests also have access to a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, and flexible event spaces suited for weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
