ITC Hotels Limited has signed an agreement for a new property under its Fortune Hotels portfolio in Lucknow, marking its second hotel in the city and seventh in Uttar Pradesh. The company also has six more properties under development across the state.
The new hotel, Fortune Select Lucknow, will be located on the Lucknow-Kanpur Road, offering convenient access to both cities. It aims to cater to the rising demand for premium accommodation in the region, driven by business travel, pilgrimage, MICE events, and destination weddings.
Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels, said that Lucknow’s blend of tradition and modernity, along with its growing infrastructure and dynamic corporate sector, makes it a vital market for the brand. He noted that the new hotel would serve as a valuable addition to the state’s evolving tourism and hospitality ecosystem.
The hotel is being developed by M/s CEM Hospitality. Indermohan Singh, Chairman of the group, said that Lucknow’s emergence as a business and cultural hub strongly influenced their decision to invest in the region. He added that partnering with Fortune Hotels was a natural choice, given the brand’s strong market reputation, operational excellence, and deep understanding of Indian travellers.
Slated to open in 2026, Fortune Select Lucknow will offer 93 modern rooms along with diverse dining experiences, including a multi-cuisine restaurant, a rooftop outlet with panoramic city views, and a stylish bar. It will also feature expansive banquet spaces and wellness amenities such as a spa, gym, and swimming pool, positioning it as an attractive destination for both travellers and local residents.
Currently, Fortune Hotels operates Fortune Park BBD in Lucknow and has a growing footprint in the state with hotels in Ayodhya, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, and Noida. The new addition further reinforces ITC Hotels’ commitment to expanding its presence in key growth markets across India.
