Grand Chennai by GRT curated ‘The Coast is Calling’- A Degustation Menu at J Hind, Grand Chennai by GRT. This specially curated degustation menu has local delicacies that have been given a modern touch through molecular gastronomy, blowtorch roasting and other state-of-the-art techniques.
One can start the flavourful journey with the famous Kakka Erachi Soup (Ocean Clams Soup) or a hot bowl of Kotte Saaru (Jackfruit Seed Soup). Bite into Yetti Karwar Fry (a South Indian Prawn dish) or Pazham Pori (Deep fried ripe Nendram banana) with an ocean flavour to get ready for the main course. Pair rich curries such as Kori gassi with akki roti (Mangalorean-style chicken curry) and Goan Arroz com coco with tomato curry with steaming hot coconut rice or a variety of breads. End the meal on a sweet note with some Tender Coconut Ice Cream or Chakka Pradhaman(a kerala style jackfruit dessert).
