Record financial performance
Mumbai, April 28, 2026: The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Limited reported its strongest-ever financial performance in FY26, with operating revenue rising 15 per cent year-on-year to ₹15,273 million. Operating EBITDA grew 19 per cent to ₹7,429 million, while profit after tax surged nearly 8.5 times to ₹4,030 million, marking a significant leap in profitability.
Strong RevPAR and ADR growth
The performance was driven by sustained demand in the luxury segment, with RevPAR increasing 14 per cent and ADR rising 13 per cent for the full year. The company continued to outperform the broader luxury hospitality segment, strengthening its pricing power and market share.
Robust quarterly momentum
In Q4 FY26, operating revenue increased 12 per cent to ₹4,844 million, while EBITDA rose 13 per cent to ₹2,657 million. Profit after tax for the quarter grew 46 per cent to ₹1,717 million, supported by resilient domestic demand and faster growth in food and beverage revenues.
Expansion and portfolio growth
FY26 marked the company’s fastest expansion phase, with new additions across Mumbai, Dubai, Jaisalmer and Coorg, driving a 23 per cent increase in keys. The company now has a portfolio of over 5,200 luxury keys, with a strong pipeline of future developments.
Improved financial strength
The company significantly strengthened its balance sheet, reducing net debt to ₹12,707 million. Its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio improved to 1.6 times, providing greater financial flexibility to support expansion plans.
Brand leadership and guest experience
The Leela maintained strong customer satisfaction with a Net Promoter Score of 86, outperforming industry benchmarks. Continued global and domestic recognitions reinforced its leadership position in the luxury hospitality segment.
Growth outlook
The company remains focused on capital-efficient expansion through a mix of owned and managed assets, alongside enhancing experiential offerings in wellness, F&B and luxury lifestyle. With a pipeline of over 1,000 keys by FY30, The Leela is well-positioned to capitalise on sustained demand in the luxury segment.
