The Marriott India Business Council celebrated the 11th edition of its flagship philanthropic initiative, “Road to Give,” reaffirming its commitment to community, compassion, and collective movement across India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
What began over a decade ago as a simple fitness-led initiative to connect associates through giving has evolved into a transformative regional movement — one that continues to inspire empathy, inclusion, and meaningful social impact across South Asia.
This year’s edition saw participation from over 10,000 Marriott associates, who ran, walked, cycled, and moved together for a cause. The initiative successfully raised over ₹1 crore, directed towards Rising Star Outreach of India, a Chennai-based NGO that supports individuals and families affected by leprosy through education, healthcare, and vocational empowerment.
Reinforcing Marriott’s core value of “Putting People First,” participating hotels across the region hosted wellness activities, community runs, and volunteering events that blended physical well-being with purposeful giving.
“Each year, Road to Give reminds us of the extraordinary power of collective purpose,” said Sanjay Gupta, Chairman, Marriott India Business Council. “As we commemorate the 11th year of this remarkable initiative, we celebrate not just the funds raised or the miles covered, but the spirit of unity and compassion our associates bring to their communities. Their efforts continue to strengthen Marriott’s legacy of care and commitment across the region.”
Over the years, Road to Give has become a defining element of Marriott’s culture of giving — encouraging associates to champion wellness, inclusion, and empathy in every community they serve. Each milestone reinforces the belief that success is measured not just in business achievements, but in the impact created by uplifting others.
As the Marriott India Business Council looks ahead, it extends heartfelt gratitude to all participants, partners, and supporters who contributed to making the 2025 edition a resounding success. Every stride taken and every rupee raised brings the community closer to a more compassionate and inclusive tomorrow — proving once again that the spirit of giving truly moves us all forward.
