Ochre Spirits Private Limited has announced the launch of two new products—‘The Original Dry Gin’ and ‘Plum & Citron Gin’—marking a significant step in its portfolio expansion and growth strategy in India’s premium craft spirits segment.
The Goa-based, venture capital-backed company is aiming to achieve a revenue milestone of ₹145 crore over the next three years, revising its earlier target of ₹100 crore amid rising demand for craft spirits across the country.
The introduction of the two new gins reflects the company’s focus on capitalizing on the rapid growth and premiumization of the gin category in India. Both variants are bottled at 40% ABV and are positioned to cater to evolving consumer preferences in the premium spirits market.
‘The Original Dry Gin’ is inspired by Mediterranean herb profiles, offering a botanical-forward composition with notes of olives, rosemary, thyme, and citrus peels. The product is designed to deliver structure and versatility, making it suitable for both classiccocktails and contemporary mixes.
‘Plum & Citron Gin’, meanwhile, introduces a fruit-forward profile, combining plum and citron within a balanced botanical base. The variant is aimed at younger, experimental consumers seeking distinctive and globally inspired flavor experiences.
The dual launch comes at a time when the company is entering a new phase of expansion. Ochre Spirits currently operates in Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Puducherry, and is preparing to expand its presence to seven states and 34 cities in the next financial year. The expansion is expected to strengthen its reach across premium retail outlets, bars, and restaurants, as well as tap into a growing base of cocktail enthusiasts.
Commenting on the development, John Royerr, Founder of Ochre Spirits, noted that the craft spirits market in India is transitioning from an experimental phase to one driven by consumer conviction. He highlighted that repeat consumption of craft spirits signals category maturity, and the company’s portfolio expansion, national rollout, and fundraising plans are aligned with this shift in consumer behavior.
The new launches add to Ochre Spirits’ existing portfolio, which includes Mango Citron Rum, Nutty Berry Rum, Peach & Cherry Vodka, and Saffron Vodka. The brand has gained recognition for its distinctive flavor profiles and focus on quality within the craft beverage segment.
The newly launched gins are currently available in Goa and Puducherry, with planned rollouts in Karnataka and Maharashtra in the coming months as part of the company’s structured expansion strategy.
With an expanded product lineup and wider distribution network, Ochre Spirits is positioning itself to strengthen its foothold in India’s evolving premium spirits market while driving growth through innovation and scale.
