Real estate developer Omaxe Ltd has partnered with Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), the hospitality group behind the iconic Taj brand, to develop India’s first stadium-hotel and an exclusive members-only club at The Omaxe State in Dwarka, Delhi.
The development will feature a 158-key Gateway hotel, including 40 stadium-view suites built within a 30,000-seat international cricket-cum-football stadium, allowing guests to watch matches directly from their rooms. Another 108 rooms will be housed in the adjoining premium club building.
Spread across 50.4 acres, The Omaxe State is being developed under a PPP model with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) as an integrated hub of sports, retail, hospitality, and leisure, anchored by a stadium meeting ICC and FIFA standards.
IHCL will also manage a 250,000 sq. ft. members-only club, among the largest in India, offering dining, lounges, Olympic-standard pools, spa and wellness, co-working spaces, sports facilities, and banqueting venues.
“The Omaxe State is Delhi’s most ambitious destination. Partnering with IHCL sets new benchmarks for hospitality, sports, and urban entertainment,” said Mohit Goel, MD, Omaxe Ltd.
Strategically located near Bharat Vandana Park and Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, the project is set to attract global sporting events and conferences. Slated for completion in 2027, it is expected to generate INR4,200 crore in lifecycle revenue and create large-scale employment opportunities.
