RateGain Travel Technologies has expanded its commercial organisation across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APAC & MEA), increasing its regional workforce fivefold over the past year to more than 100 professionals as it accelerates adoption of AI-powered hospitality solutions.
The expansion follows the acquisition of Sojern and reflects the company’s focus on building an integrated commercial ecosystem for hotels across the region.
Led by Anurag Jain, the expanded structure combines AI-powered distribution, pricing intelligence, demand generation, digital marketing, guest engagement, and travel intent data into a unified commercial platform designed to simplify hotel growth operations.
The company said the initiative aims to help hotels move away from fragmented commercial systems involving multiple vendors, disconnected dashboards, and complex integrations that often slow decision-making and demand conversion.
Commenting on the development, Jain said hotels increasingly require outcome-driven technology ecosystems that simplify growth, improve discoverability, and strengthen guest value creation through connected AI-driven solutions.
Over the past year, RateGain has expanded its operations across key hospitality markets including India, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Singapore, Japan, China, Dubai, and Africa.
To support the expansion, the company has strengthened its leadership structure with appointments across enterprise sales, account management, partnerships, and regional marketing functions spanning Singapore, Dubai, Beijing, Tokyo, Cairo, Thailand, and India.
Key appointments include Camille Venturina for Singapore and Oceania expansion, Abhay Khanna for Asia growth initiatives, Ruka Nagai for Japan operations, and Shukun Ma for strategic growth in China.
The company said the regional commercial structure combines local market expertise with global operational consistency to help hoteliers improve distribution, direct bookings, customer engagement, and revenue performance.
RateGain added that further expansion is underway across emerging hospitality growth markets including Turkey, Vietnam, and Australia as the company continues strengthening its APAC & MEA presence.
