Sula Vineyards, India’s most visited winery, is now closer than ever to Mumbai thanks to the new Samruddhi Mahamarg expressway. The six-lane highway has reduced travel time from Mumbai to Nashik to just 2–2.5 hours, making Sula an ideal quick getaway for urban travelers.
The expressway’s newly completed Thane-to-Nashik stretch ensures a seamless journey, with the Thane-Igatpuri section taking only 40–50 minutes. South Mumbai travelers can now save an additional 45 minutes using the Coastal Road and Samruddhi Expressway, enjoying a smoother and more scenic commute.
Rajeev Samant, CEO of Sula Vineyards, highlighted the transformative impact, stating, “The Samruddhi Mahamarg enhances accessibility, making Sula more reachable for wine lovers from Mumbai and beyond. This infrastructure improvement supports tourism and boosts the local economy.”
With The Source at Sula and Beyond by Sula now within a few hours’ drive from Mumbai, the improved connectivity is set to increase day trips and weekend visits. As travelers seek nature-focused escapes combining wine and relaxation, Sula Vineyards is poised to see a surge in interest, strengthening its role in local hospitality and the regional economy.
