Nestled on the edge of the Sariska Tiger Reserve and surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, Sariska Lodge has opened its doors as an intimate retreat that blends responsible travel, sustainable living, and experiential luxury. Spread across 15 acres of afforested land, the retreat has been carefully developed over two and a half years to offer uninterrupted views of wilderness alongside curated cultural and nature-driven experiences.
The lodge is the vision of Anand Shekhawat, a veteran hotelier and conservationist with experience at Aman Resorts and Oberoi Hotels, and Puneet Jain, a wildlife enthusiast and entrepreneur. Together, they aim to create a model for genuine hospitality rooted in conservation.
With just 11 private suites, the retreat offers seclusion and immersion in nature. Its design, inspired by British-era forest resthouses and Rajasthani hunting lodges, features reclaimed wood, local stone, carved jaalis, and earthy interiors that seamlessly connect with the outdoors. Facilities include a dedicated restaurant, outdoor dining spaces, an organic garden, a pool, a wellness centre, and Ashwalaya, its in-house horse stable.
Guests can experience the region’s biodiversity through jungle safaris, birdwatching trails, forest drives, and nature walks, with opportunities to spot tigers, leopards, hyenas, sloth bears, and over 200 bird species. Cultural immersion includes visits to centuries-old temples, sacred sites, and villages where local artisans keep traditional crafts alive.
Dining follows a farm-to-table philosophy, with meals crafted from seasonal produce and the lodge’s own organic garden. Options range from elegant restaurant dining to starlit campfire feasts. For rejuvenation, the Ku Nye Wellness Centre offers Ayurvedic and Tibetan therapies, yoga sessions, and meditation by ancient ruins or tranquil reservoirs.
