Sula Vineyards has strengthened its premium portfolio with the launch of The Source Grenache Red, marking the eighth addition to its growing The Source range.
Crafted from 100% Grenache grapes, the new offering is positioned as a medium-bodied, fruit-forward red wine, designed to appeal to both emerging and seasoned wine consumers. The launch builds on the strong market response to The Source Grenache Rosé and reflects rising interest in versatile, easy-drinking varietals in India.
With 13% ABV, the wine features notes of strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry, complemented by subtle spice and balanced acidity. Its approachable profile makes it suitable for casual dining and everyday consumption, pairing well with Indian and global dishes such as kebabs, curries, and pasta.
According to Gorakh Gaikwad, COO and Chief Winemaker at Sula Vineyards, the launch aims to further explore the potential of Grenache while maintaining the brand’s focus on balance, drinkability, and character.
Priced at ₹1,295 for 750 ml and ₹727 for 375 ml, the wine is currently available across retail outlets in Mumbai.
The addition comes as The Source portfolio continues to see double-digit growth, underlining a broader shift in India’s wine market towards premiumisation and terroir-driven offerings.
