The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group has launched ‘Hospitality With A Heart’, a brand philosophy that brings together the values of Indian hospitality, inclusion and sustainability that have shaped the group’s journey for over three decades.
Introduced by Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & Managing Director, The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, the initiative is positioned as a long-term brand commitment rather than a marketing campaign. Built around three pillars—Homegrown, Inclusive and Sustainable—the philosophy aims to strengthen the group’s focus on authentic Indian experiences, responsible business practices and community engagement.
As part of its homegrown approach, The LaLiT continues to showcase regional architecture, cuisine, art and culture across its properties, offering guests destination-led experiences rooted in local identity and the Indian ethos of Atithi Devo Bhava.
The philosophy also underscores the group’s emphasis on inclusive hospitality. Through its employment initiatives and collaboration with the Keshav Suri Foundation, The LaLiT said it has created opportunities for more than 2,000 members of the LGBTQIA+ community through skilling, employment and empowerment programmes. The organisation has also extended opportunities to persons with disabilities, acid attack survivors and neurodivergent individuals.
Sustainability remains a key focus area, with the group highlighting initiatives such as planting over 20 lakh trees across India, operating six net-zero carbon footprint properties, promoting zero-waste kitchens and supporting local artisans and farmers through responsible sourcing practices.
Announcing the launch, Dr. Jyotsna Suri said the philosophy reflects the group’s belief that hospitality goes beyond service and is centred on making people feel welcome, respected and valued.
With the launch of Hospitality With A Heart, The LaLiT aims to further integrate purpose-led hospitality into its operations while reinforcing its positioning as an Indian luxury hospitality brand focused on inclusion, sustainability and community impact.
