Hyderabad’s taste for high-quality Italian food is strong. Toscano’s arrival in Gachibowli highlights this, as it opens its second outpost next to the popular Salt restaurant near Wipro junction. Entering the restaurant feels like stepping into another world. The shiny glass front leads to a cozy interior, filled with warm lighting that evokes a peaceful Tuscan evening. It offers a refined but friendly atmosphere, building on their Knowledge City debut and providing the consistent quality that has defined the brand across South India.

Rustic Charm Meets IT-Corridor Chic
The Gachibowli space balances modern style with rustic charm. Contemporary art complements a lively open bar, where the flow of bartenders creates an engaging scene for diners. Soft pendant lights give an intimate glow, despite the busy IT-corridor setting.
Classics Crafted with Care
Toscano’s menu values traditional Italian dishes over trendy options. Each classic is crafted with care.
The wood-fired oven is central to the kitchen, turning out pizzas that are perfectly blistered, mildly crisp on the edges, and soft in the centre .
The Silky Broccoli and Spinach Soup (Zuppa) is smooth, perfectly seasoned, and comforting for a cool evening. The salad choices deserve attention. The Insalata Caprese celebrates fresh ingredients: soft mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and fragrant basil show that true simplicity can be wonderful. For those looking for something different, the Goat Cheese and Roasted Pears Insalata offers a lively mix of the tangy cheese and the sweet fruit, pairing nicely with the greens.
Among the starters, the Fritto Misto di Calamari Gamberi e Pesce features a delicate fry of calamari and fish. This dish achieves a balance of crunch and freshness without overpowering the taste buds.
Signature main dishes reflect the brand’s reliable skill. The Pollo Toscano Pizza is a crowd favorite, while the Toscano Special Pizza – topped with cured meats, caramelized onions, and mozzarella – better showcases the kitchen’s talent.
The drink menu offers refreshing options between meals. The Basil Orange Cooler and Mango Milkshake both stand out – the former is herbaceous and zesty, while the latter is rich but not overly sweet.
The Sweet Finish
Desserts at Toscano Gachibowli maintain the same quality and finesse. The Dessert Platter allows diners to sample house favorites, perfect for those who can’t decide. The Kahlua Mousse is indulgent, dark, and aromatic. The Brownie with Ice Cream brings a comforting touch without being heavy. Meanwhile, the feather-light Tiramisu remains a signature dish – perfectly balanced, and satisfying.
Pan-India Ambition
The service reflects Toscano’s commitment to quality-attentive, knowledgeable, and assured. Group Executive Chef Rohit Tokhi credits this consistency to established processes rather than random luck.
“As Toscano grows quickly, we keep a consistent taste, operations, and guest experience through a careful system focused on quality and discipline,” Tokhi explains. He mentions standardised recipes, fixed portions, and flagship outlets serving as training centres, this framework is designed to support growth without losing quality.
The Gachibowli opening signifies an important step in Toscano’s expansion. Since starting in Bengaluru in 2008, the brand now has 21 locations across six cities. Chef Tokhi confirms that the current goal is to grow within India, with plans for five to seven new restaurants in major cities within the next three quarters. International expansion will come later.
With this second location adding in Gachibowli, Toscano solidifies its reputation as one of Hyderabad’s most dependable spots for fine Italian dining. It combines the confidence of an upscale restaurant with the comfort of a local favourite .
