Capacity Boost
In a move reflecting the rapid evolution of India’s foodservice and convenience food landscape, Cravicious Foods Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with the launch of a new 125 metric tonne facility in Noida—signalling a sharper push into the HoReCa segment.
The expansion comes at a time when demand for ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat formats is accelerating across both households and institutional buyers. For Cravicious, the new facility is not just about capacity—it is about scaling reliability, consistency, and speed in a market where supply chain efficiency is increasingly critical.
Headquartered in Greater Noida, the company operates across both B2C and B2B verticals, with consumer-facing brands Meaty Story and Veggie Story, alongside institutional offerings under the Cravicious umbrella. The new plant complements its existing facility, which already handles substantial monthly output, reinforcing a multi-channel growth strategy spanning quick commerce, D2C, and foodservice.
From a hospitality perspective, the timing is significant.
B2B Focus
India’s HoReCa sector—comprising hotels, restaurants, and catering—has been witnessing a structural shift toward standardized, high-quality frozen inputs. As kitchens look to optimise costs, reduce prep time, and maintain consistency, brands like Cravicious are positioning themselves as back-end enablers of modern foodservice operations.
The newly commissioned unit is equipped with advanced freezing technology and supported by over 50 quality checkpoints, ensuring stringent control across sourcing, processing, and distribution. This level of process integration is becoming increasingly important as foodservice operators demand traceability, hygiene, and uniform product performance.
According to co-founder and CEO Ekansh Garg, the expansion also aligns with a broader product innovation pipeline. The company is actively developing new formats across vegetarian and non-vegetarian categories, targeting both everyday consumption and scalable foodservice applications.
What stands out is the company’s dual focus: while continuing to cater to evolving retail consumption patterns, it is simultaneously building a robust B2B supply backbone—a strategy that mirrors global trends in the frozen food industry.
As India’s dining ecosystem becomes more organised and demand for convenience-led formats rises, Cravicious Foods is positioning itself at the intersection of food technology, manufacturing scale, and hospitality demand.
The new facility, therefore, is not just an operational milestone—it represents a step toward building a future-ready, process-driven food supply ecosystem tailored for both consumers and the country’s expanding HoReCa sector.
