Four Seasons and Catuaí Asset have announced Four Seasons Hotel Rio de Janeiro at Leblon, set to open in 2029 and marking the brand’s return to Brazil. Located on Leblon Beach, the hotel will occupy the area’s tallest building—formerly Hotel Marina Palace—which will undergo a complete transformation into a modern luxury landmark.
Featuring approximately 120 rooms and suites with panoramic Atlantic Ocean views, the hotel will offer a rooftop bar and pool, a signature restaurant, and world-class spa and wellness experiences. Four Seasons leadership emphasised the project as a milestone in elevating Rio’s luxury hospitality landscape, while Catuaí Asset noted the revitalisation of an iconic structure for future generations.
Just 30 minutes from Galeão International Airport, the property will join the brand’s expanding South American portfolio, including upcoming openings in Cartagena.
