Midscale expansion in key business hub
Indian Hotels Company Limited has announced the debut of its Ginger brand in Hyderabad with the opening of a new hotel on Airport Road, marking its entry into one of India’s most dynamic lodging markets.
Strategic positioning in high-demand market
The launch reflects IHCL’s focus on strengthening its presence in high-growth urban centres. Hyderabad continues to attract demand across sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and medical tourism, making it a key market for midscale hospitality offerings.
Lean-luxe offering in midscale segment
The 118-key Ginger Hyderabad Airport Road features rooms overlooking landscaped lawns and is designed around Ginger’s lean-luxe philosophy. The property includes the brand’s signature Qmin all-day dining restaurant, a fitness centre and banquet facilities catering to meetings, conferences and social events.
Partnership-driven development
The hotel has been developed in partnership with Nimantran Catering, further strengthening IHCL’s asset-light expansion approach while tapping into local market expertise.
Strengthening brand footprint
With this opening, Ginger expands its footprint into Hyderabad, targeting a diverse customer base of business and leisure travellers, while reinforcing IHCL’s strategy of scaling its presence across key commercial and cultural destinations in India.
