Pune land deal and Goa asset buy to strengthen portfolio
Ventive Hospitality has approved strategic acquisitions worth ₹89.18 crore, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy across key leisure and urban markets.
The approvals were cleared by the company’s Investment Committee on March 30, with investments spanning two entities through its subsidiaries.
Pune play
The larger transaction involves the acquisition of a 50.02% controlling stake in Narmada Estates Pvt Ltd for ₹88.68 crore via its subsidiary Panchshil Corporate Park Pvt Ltd.
The asset includes a land parcel located near The Ritz-Carlton Pune, positioning the company to potentially expand its presence in a premium hospitality micro-market. The move signals a strategic bet on high-value urban assets aligned with luxury and upscale development opportunities.
Goa expansion
In a parallel move, the company will acquire 100% ownership of Sun Leisure (India) Pvt Ltd, which operates the Sol De Goa hospitality asset, for ₹0.50 crore through Soham Leisure Ventures Pvt Ltd.
The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Ventive’s leisure portfolio in Goa, a market that continues to see strong demand from both domestic and international travellers.
Structured growth
Both transactions are expected to be completed within three months and do not require additional regulatory approvals. The acquisitions have been disclosed under SEBI’s listing regulations, reflecting a structured and compliant approach to expansion.
Industry observers note that the dual strategy—targeting land for future development in Pune and an operational hospitality asset in Goa—highlights a balanced approach between long-term value creation and immediate revenue-generating opportunities.
With hospitality demand rebounding and asset prices stabilising, companies are increasingly looking at strategic acquisitions to scale portfolios and strengthen market positioning.
Ventive’s latest moves indicate a focused push to deepen its presence in high-growth hospitality destinations while aligning with evolving travel and investment trends.
