Atelier House Hospitality, in a strategic alliance with Graviss Hospitality, has officially unveiled SoBo 20 at the InterContinental Marine Drive. This ambitious Franco-American restaurant concept promises to redefine Mumbai’s dynamic culinary landscape.
Following the success of their modern Indian-Japanese venture, Inja, Atelier House Hospitality continues its innovative trajectory by exploring a unique culinary dialogue between classic French techniques and the bold flavors of the American South. “SoBo 20 is built on the premise of creative exchange,” states Panchali Mahendra, CEO of Atelier House Hospitality, emphasizing a space where “heritage and innovation share the same plate.”
The collaboration marks a significant evolution for the InterContinental Marine Drive, with Gaurav Ghai of Graviss Group highlighting SoBo 20’s “sophisticated playfulness” as a perfect reflection of contemporary Mumbai. Romil Ratra, CEO of Graviss Hospitality, praised Atelier House Hospitality’s ability to create culturally resonant restaurants.
Designed by Essajees Atelier, the interiors blend Art Deco with vintage Americana, capturing Mumbai’s coastal energy. Executive Chef Sudeep Kashikar’s menu reimagines French classics with American comfort, while the beverage program, curated by Supradeep Dey, mirrors this cross-cultural journey. SoBo 20 aims to be a cultural salon, where food, music, and design converge for an immersive dining experience.
