Multi-city competition aims to celebrate India’s growing cocktail culture while providing a platform for emerging bartenders to showcase creativity and regional storytelling.
ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd., the super-premium and luxury spirits subsidiary of Allied Blenders & Distillers Limited (ABD), has launched Bar Maestro, a multi-city bartending competition in partnership with beverage education platform Tulleeho. The initiative seeks to recognise and elevate India’s growing community of bartenders and mixologists by providing a platform to showcase creativity, skill and innovation.
The competition will roll out across Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Goa, Pune, Bengaluru and Kolkata from June 15, 2026. Participants will be challenged to create signature cocktails using ABD Maestro’s portfolio comprising RANGEELA Contemporary Indian Vodka, ZOYA Special Batch Gin and WOODBURNS Contemporary Indian Whisky.
Structured in three stages, the competition will begin with bartenders presenting a highball cocktail inspired by their city and culture. Shortlisted participants will then create three cocktails incorporating regional ingredients and local narratives before advancing to the national stage.
Commenting on the launch, Bikram Basu, Managing Director, ABD Maestro, said the initiative is aimed at supporting India’s evolving cocktail culture and helping bartenders gain wider recognition as creators and influencers within the hospitality ecosystem.
